Easy access optical enclosure
Photoluminescence measurements are sensitive to stray light. To map the small PL signal coming out of a sample, I designed the enclosure using thorlabs componants. I designed it to be easily accesible with pneumatic actuators to hold the cover up, and doors that open outwards, without disturbing the alignment inside. .
CAD model of the enclosure, built around Thorlabs profile parts.
After designing in CAD, I implemented the design in the lab. This was used in every experiment, allowing to measure faint PL signals from the sample. The image below shows another final built enclosure for the free space experimental setup.
