Ellipsometry is a sensitive measurements, so the sample holder has to be stable and easy to load. This design was made to support repeatable positioning on the ellipsometer setup.
Designed with the measurement in mind
The holder was shaped around the instrument constraints and the way samples are actually handled. Small features help the sample sit cleanly while keeping the measurement area accessible.
