A power meter body for photodiode detector
I designed a holder for a photodiode so it could be positioned and handled like a small optical power meter. The design gives the diode a practical body, protects the sensitive face, and makes alignment easier on an optical table.

A practical lab tool
The assembly includes a round base, protected detector face and practical mounting geometry. Small mechanical details like access threads, cable clearance for soldering and part orientation matter when the tool is used repeatedly.
